Grant Medical College, Mumbai

Grant Medical College, Mumbai is the prestigious institution that has been ranked among the 10 best medical colleges of India. It is the state government medical college affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Heath Sciences, Nashik and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals is the affiliated hospital of Grant Medical College that acts as a teaching hospital and also provides medical facilities.

Campus

The college has the excellent infrastructure situated in the land of 44 acres and is located in J.J. Marg, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The campus accommodates 46 building including hostels, canteen, different departmental buildings, etc. The college has the construction area of around 1,08,394 sq.ft.

Facilities

The college is equipped and supported with all the modern facilities. It has the laboratories of various departments for conducting practicals. It has a separate building of hotel for accommodating outstation candidates. The hostels have adequate facility as well as facility of mess that serves hygienic and nutritious foods to the students. Programmes

Grant Medical College, Mumbai offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) under its institution. After the successful completion of four and a half years with one year rotatory internship, the degree is awarded to the eligible candidates. One year of internship is very important for the completion of course. The institution also regulates nursing courses.
