Govt. College of Engineering, Kannur
Government College of Engineering, Kannur also known as GCEK is government aided engineering college located at Mangattuparamba in Kannur district of Kerala. The college was established in the year 1986 with the objective of imparting quality technical education among the students of Northern Kerala. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Kannur University, Kerala.
Campus:
GCEK is located in Mangattuparamba, just 15 km from the Kannur district headquarters. The college campus is spread in the area of 75 acres of land, the college has several buildings for academic, hostel and research work. The college can easily be accessed by road and rail transport.
Facilities:
The college provides all major facilities to staff and students, the college has well furnished and ventilated classrooms, computer centre with high speed internet facility, workshops and labs, library with good volumes of books and journals, separate hostel facility for boys and girls, sports and recreational facilities, etc.
