Govt. Ayurveda College & Hospital, Rewa was started in the year 1973 with the aim to promote quality Ayurveda education through its dedicated and highly qualified faculties. The institution is affiliated to the Awadesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa and follows the syllabus and course curriculum as prescribed by the central council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.

Campus

Govt. Ayurveda College & Hospital, Rewa has its extensive campus in Nipaniya, Rewa of Madhya Pradesh. Rewa city is situated in the north-eastern part of Madhya Pradesh. The campus is dotted with greenaries and provides eco-friendly and pollution free environment for academic pursuits.

Facilities

The  college provides a wide variety of facilities that include laboratories equipped with latest equipments, computer lab furnished with all the computing facilities, spacious classrooms having audio-visual learning aids, internet facility, medical facility, research facility, seminar hall for organizing seminars and guest lectures. It has a fully-functional library that has  10742 books related to Ayurveda, modern Medicine, and other allied science). Apart from books, it also has the collection of 7 scientific journals. The hospital of the college has all the modern heath care and medical facilities.

Programmes

Govt. Ayurveda College & Hospital, Rewa runs degree as well as certificate courses. The college provides the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) degree to the candidates who have successfully complete their course with one year internship. Total 60 seats are offered by the college for BAMS course. The college also offers MD (Ayurveda) degree and runs the research centre in its institution.
