Govt. Autonomus Dhanwantri Ayurveda College, Ujjain is the ayurved institution that has been established in the year 1968. The institution is stated as “State Model institute of Ayurveda” by Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. It is affiliated to the prestigious Vikram University, Ujjain. All the courses offered by the institution follows the syllabus declared by the central council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.
Campus
The location of Govt. Autonomus Dhanwantri Ayurveda College is at Ujjain, the largest city of Madhya Pradesh state. The campus of the college is situated in Mangalnath Road. Facilities
The campus is well-facilitated with hostels that have a capacity of 65 seats. There are 2 hostels providing accommodation to the students, one is situated inside the college and other hostel for girls is located at Indira Nagar Colony Ujjain. The college houses up-to date library that contains 10500 books and journals. The library accommodates the collection of postgraduate thesises separately. The college also has 2 rich herbal gardens awarded as best Biodiversity garden. The lecture hall has unique serene reading ambience with good lighting and ventilating.
