Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College, Pauri-Garhwal
Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College(GBPEC) is an autonomous and fully government institution established by the state government of Uttarakhand in the year 1989. The GBPEC is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Uttarakhand. The institution is affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. The campus is approved by the AICTE and Ministry of HRD.
Campus:
The GBPEC campus is situated in District Pauri Garhwal, state Uttarakhand. The college offers the 180 degree horizontal view of the Great Himalaya’s Mountain Rage in a pollution free environment in the lap of hills and valleys. The campus is 155 km away from the nearest airport at Dehradun.
Programmes:

The campus has 506 seats as the annual intake capacity of all programmes. The institution has 73 faculty members from all departments.
Facilities:
The GBPEC campus is housed in various blocks and buildings comprising several amenities. The campus has a central library over 30000 volumes of books, seven boys hostels, six girls and women faculty hostels, 24 hour internet, health centre with ambulance, guest house complex, sports complex, banks, post office and transportation.
Activities:
The campus organizes the annual events and NSS activities. The campus has five student committees, five student clubs and six students’ welfare societies for conducting the various activities in cultural and social formats.
Placement:
The Training and Placement of the college is not only providing the job placement to the students but also equip them with the industrial knowledge, developing skills and various orientation programmes.
