Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram

Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram is the premier educational institution established in the year 1875. This college is administered by the Government of Kerala. It is affiliated to the University of Kerala and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.

Campus

The campus of Government Law College is situated in the Highland Bungalow, Barton Hill, Kunnukuzhy, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The green campus of the college is situated in the heat of the city and covers the area of 5 acres of land.

Facilities

The college has a library that contains the law books of various subjects. The fully facilitated hostel for boys is situated within the campus of the college. The classrooms of the college are well-lightened and airy provides the comfortable environment for learning. The college is well-known for conducting moot competitions. It has modern cafeteria, canteen and mess that caters the hygienic food to the students. Transportation facility is also available for students and staff members.

Programmes

Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram imparts undergraduate and postgraduate legal education to the students. It offers 5-years integrated law programme in B.A.LL.B. and 3-years bachelor of law (LL.B.). It also offers LL.M. programme in Criminal Law and Science, Technology and Law.
