Government Law College, Mumbai
Government Law College was came into existence in the year of 1855. This college is affiliated to University of Mumbai and has an approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. This college is the oldest law college in Asia.
Campus
This college has a sprawling campus located at ‘A’ Road, Churchgate, Mumbai. Mumbai is well-connected with all the major cities in the state of Maharashtra.
Facilities
This college has a spacious library with reading room located on the third floor of the building. The library has a rich collection of books, periodicals, journals, law reports and many other study materials. It houses an ERR (Electronic Research Room) and computer centre equipped with the latest computers, net connectivity, etc. This college has a Gymnasium (Gymkhana) on the 4th floor of the building and also has sports grounds to provide sports facilities. It has a spacious auditorium equipped with audio-video equipments to organize various college functions, lectures and other co-curricular activities.

Government Law College offers undergraduate, diploma and certificate courses in the field of law such as LL.B (Three year) and BLS. LL.B course. The duration of BLS. LL.B course is five years comprises of ten semesters. Admission
Admission into UG law courses offered by this college will be given through the CET (Common Entrance Test). Admissions will be given strictly on the basis of merit list. Students will be shortlisted for admission according to their performance in the entrance examination.
