Government Brijindra College (GBC), Faridkot
Government Brijindra College [GBC], Faridkot was established in 1942. It is a co-educational institution, affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Patiala. Government Brijindra College is one of the few Government colleges in Punjab, which has been accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC. At, present the college is running courses in the field of engineering, administration, agriculture, politics, medicine, arts, literature, defense and sports.
Campus
There are many departments in the college campus. It has transport facility to transport the students from their home to the college and back to home. The campus is divided into different departments. It is located in the lush green land of the Faridkot. The state-of-art infrastructure of the college is very well-organized. The college has big buildings with spacious classrooms. The person will easily reach the college by public transportation.
Facilities
The college provides every facility which is necessary for the students in the campus. The well established central library which is the backbone of every college. The library was enriched with lots of textbooks, journals, newspaper and many more. The auditorium of the college is spacious and fully air-conditioned. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. The Government Brijindra College offers the Bachelor and Master Degree courses. It offers the courses in various disciplines of the Science & Technology. The departments in the college are politics, medicine, arts, literature, defense, sports, engineering, administration and agriculture. Under the Agriculture department it only offered the one course i.e.:
