Global Institute of Management and Emerging Technologies, (GIMET) Amritsar is a private aided self-financed engineering college established in the year 2008 by Guru Har Rai Educational Society. The college is a flagship institute of global institutes offering education in various fields such as engineering, management, agriculture, etc. The college is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar.

Campus:

The GIMETis located at 11 km stone, Sohian Khurd in Amritsar district. The college campus is spread in an area of 22 acres of lush green and pollution free environment providing the solace to the mind and soul to everyone who visit the campus.

Programmes:

The college is offering five courses in the graduate engineering discipline with the total intake capacity of 480 students. The college is also offering three courses in a postgraduate engineering discipline. It also runs full time undergraduate engineering courses in agriculture. The college is running B.Sc in Agriculture which has the duration of 4 years.

The cell also arranges industrial visits and guest lectures of professionals from industry and industrial visits for the students.
