Gian Sagar Colleges & Hospital, Patiala
Gian Sagar Educational & Charitable trust has established the Gian Sagar Medical College in the year 2007 and Gian Sagar Dental College in the year of 2006. This college is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and its medical courses are approved by MCI (Medical Council of India) and dental courses are approved by DCI (Dental Council of India).
Campus
The campus is situated on National Highway – 64 linking Chandigarh to Bathinda and onwards to Rajasthan. The nearest railway station is Rajpura Junction which is just 8 kms away from the campus and the nearest airport is around 35 kms away from the main campus.
Facilities
This college houses three hostels for girl students and two hostels for boys to provide residential facilities. Hostel rooms are well-furnished and equipped with mess facility. It houses an air-conditioned library with the seating capacity of 500 students. The library is stacked with books, text books, reference books, journals, newspapers and magazines. Other facilities are common rooms, well-equipped laboratories, computer center, auditorium, cafeteria and indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
