Genesis Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Firozpur was established in the year 2005. The institution is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and approved by Dental Council of India (DCI). The institution provides excellence in education, patient care, research and community service.

Campus

The campus is spread over an area of 8 acres of land. The campus is ideally located on the GT Road, within city limits and is easily accessible.

Facilities

The institution has well-equipped laboratories with all the modern facilities. The institution provides the facility of library which consists of national and international journals, periodicals, online databases, projects, magazines and reports. The institution provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls along with the mess facility. There is also a well-facilitated computer centre, spacious auditorium, well-established classrooms with the facility of Internet and LCD Projector, mess and cafeteria, sports facility. The institution has a guest house, gymnasium. The institution also has fully equipped lecture halls with the audio-visual equipments.

Programmes

Genesis Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Firozpur offers undergraduate and postgraduate programme in the medical field. It offers undergraduate programme in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and postgraduate programme in Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). The duration of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is four years which is followed by one year of internship training. The duration of the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) course is three years.
