Geeta Institute of Management and Technology, Kurukshetra

Geeta Institute of Management & Technology (GIMT) was established in the year 2007 as a private and self-financing institution set up by the Geeta Education Trust. The GIMT is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution and a member of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The GIMT is affiliated to the Kurukshetra University. The GIMT is approved by the AICTE, MHRD and DTE & Govt. of Haryana.

Campus:

The GIMT campus is sited on the Delhi –Ambala National Highway-01 in Village Kanipla at Tehsil Thanesar in District Kurukshetra, Haryana. The campus is spread over in 11 acres of well-developed land. The campus is 10 km away from the Kurukshetra Railway Station and 80 km from the Chandigarh Airport.

Programmes:

The GIMT conducts the B.Tech and M.Tech programme in five engineering streams and the post-graduate degree respects to the MBA and MCA course. The GIMT also conducts the Pre-Engineering Programme.

Students & Faculty:

The GIMT offers 842 seats as the annual intake capacity of admission in all programmes. The GIMT has a team of 50 faculty members from all departments.

Facilities:

The GIMT has been established a Woman Grievance Cell to make girls independent and bold. The campus provides the transport, separate hostels, cafeteria, medical facility, sports facility, book bank, library, language lab, computer lab, wi-fi internet and laboratories.

Activities:

The GIMT organizes the NCC & NSS programme and camping to promote the awareness of the students in various social fields with discipline.

Placement:

The GIMT established the training and placement cell for providing the training, guest lecture, internship arrangements, PDP and finally job placement.
