Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering, Vishakhapatnam

Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (GVPCE) has been established in the year 1996. It is a private, self-financing and an autonomous institution set up by the Gayatri Vidya Parishad Society. The institution is affiliated to the JNTU Kakinada and approved by the AICTE. The GVPCE is accredited by the NAAC and NBA.

Campus:

The GVPCE campus is situated at the Madhurawada Mandal in Vishakhapatnam, the district of Andhra Pradesh. The GVPCE is sited over the 21 acres of land in the outskirt of the city. The campus is 15 km away from the Vishakhapatnam Railway Station and 30 km from the Vishakhapatnam Airport.

Programmes:

Students & Faculty:

For the current academic year, the GVPCE is offering the admission over 1254 seats as the annual intake capacity of all programmes. The GVPCE has around 230 faculty members from all departments out of which 30% are doctorate and another 30% are pursuing PhD.

Facilities:

The campus provides a central library with over 53000 of books and volumes, separate hostel facility for boys & girls, canteen & separate dining hall with the capacity of 350 seats, a fleet of 16 buses for transportation, sports complex, internet & intranet facility with 1Gbps speed, first-aid facility, bank & post office and student facility centre.

Activities:

The GVPCE campus has IETE, ISTE and IEEE chapter for student and professionals. The campus organizes the sports activities, social activities, NSS camping and cultural day celebrations.

Placement:

The training & placement department of GVPCE is conducting the PDPs, GD, Interview skill and career counselling facilitating for job placement. The department provides the special training for entrepreneurship. The department has a study centre for higher education and faculty development programme.
