Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, New Delhi
Faculty of Medical Sciences New Delhi was established in the year 1949. It is affiliated to University of Delhi and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI). It offers a variety of undergraduate courses in nursing, medicine and related areas and offers postgraduate courses in all the basic and clinical medical specialties.
Campus
Faculty of Medical Sciences is situated in Vallabhai Patel Chest Institute Building, New Delhi. The institution has a world-class infrastructure that consists of administrative block and student’s blocks. The campus is well equipped with all the remarkable facilities. It offers a perfect ambience to the students, which facilitate them in their studies.
Facilities
Various necessary facilities are provided by the institution for recreation and all round development of the students such as accommodation facilities for students separately for boys and girls, hostels located within the campus along with the mess facility, air-conditioned and spacious classrooms which are equipped with LCD projectors, digital storage device etc. It provides wi-fi facility to the students. The institution has a library which has a collection of books, newspapers, national and international journals, periodicals and online databases. It has an auditorium for various cultural events, a conference hall, a well facilitated computer centre and various other recreational facilities like sports facility, cafeteria etc.
Programmes
Faculty of Medical Sciences offers a variety of undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). It offers postgraduate courses in MD, MS and diploma. It also offers superspecialty courses in DM/MCh.
