Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow
Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University was founded in the year of 2005 by an Act of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in 2005, U.P. Act No.28 of 2005. It is a public university with an approval of University Grants Commission (UGC). This university is one of the parts of National Law Universities of the country.
Campus
The campus is located on the LDA’s Kanpur Road in the south-west part of Lucknow the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The campus has been spread over 40 acres of land. The nearest railway station is Lucknow railway station around 7 kms away from the campus and Amausi airport is just 3.0 kms away from the campus location.
Facilities
This university houses separate hostels to provide accommodation facilities for boys and girls. Hostels have fully furnished rooms equipped with all the modern amenities. It has various lecture theaters equipped with LCD projectors and other teaching equipment. There is Lawn Tennis Court, Badminton Court, Football grounds and swimming pool to provide sports facilities. This university has an in-built hospital with 24 hours ambulance service for urgent medical requirements. Other facilities are advanced computer lab, moot court hall, conference hall, spacious auditorium, banking facilities, etc.

Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University runs B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M and Ph.D courses in the field of law. The duration of B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) course is five years and duration of LL.M course is one year. This university gives admission to 160 students in the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) programme.

Admission
Admission into B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M and Ph.D courses will be given on the basis of CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). Admissions will be given as per the marks scored in the admission test. If two students get equal marks in the admission test, then the marks obtained in the 12th or equivalent exam shall be considered.
