Dr BR Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad, previously known as Andhra Pradesh Open University is a Public University came into existence in the year 1982. The University was renamed on 24 October 1991. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines.

Campus

The University is located in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad of Telangana state. The sprawling campus is spread over the large area of around 53.63 acres (217,000 m²). The administrative and academic branch is equipped with various amenities. The University offers the learning in its pollution free environment.
