Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, (NIT) Jalandhar,  is a government aided engineering college located in Jalandhar district of Punjab. The college was established in the year 1987 and was originally known as Regional engineering college. But later in the year 2002 it was given the NIT status by the government of India under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. The college is one youngest of the National institute of technology in India.

Campus:

The college is situated in Jalandhar district of Punjab. The college campus is spread in an area of 160 acres of lush green land. The NIT Jalandhar University in Patiala district of Punjab. The university campus is spread in an area of 154 acres. The pollution free and calm environment surrounded by a green belt makes the place unique for learning and teaching.

Programmes:
