Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Institute of Information Technology & Management Science (DAMITS) was established in the year of 2001. It was founded under the aegis of Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Social, Welfare & Educational Trust. The Institution is ISO 9001:2008 Certified. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to the Biju Pattnaik University of Technology, Odisha.

Campus

The DAMITS campus is situated in the Steel City of Rourkela that is recognized as the Technological cradel of Odisha. The Institution is well-connected by road and rail. The nearest railway station is located about 8 kms and bust stand near 2 kms. The campus is spread over attractively landscape region with the lush green and serene environment.

Facilities

The Institution has a well-established class room with head projectors and LCD facility. There also a facility such as A/C Conference hall, Computer lab, Canteen, Gymnasium and Seminar Hall. The institution has 24 hours Wi-Fi connectivity. There is also a separate well-furnished hostel for men and women. The hostel is well-equipped with recent amenities and affords a fit atmosphere with wonderful living condition.
