Doon College of Law, Saharanpur

Doon College of Law, Saharanpur was formed by the Rajendra Prasad Memorial Educational Society in the year of 2004. The college is affiliated to the Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut & approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

Campus

The College campus is located in National Highway – 72 – A, Delhi – Dehradun Road, Saharanpur, UP. The campus is well-connected with the various modes of transportation such as road & railway.

Facilities

The College library is well-furnished with the highly specialized collection of books, periodicals, records, theses, online database of cases, journals, etc. The library is well-connected with the Computer facility. Other facilities provided by the college are: transport, canteen, ATM, medical, conference room, seminar hall, moot court, etc. There are also a separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The college also conducts regular visits for law students to the High Court, Districts Courts, Supreme Court and other judicial forums and tribunals. The college promotes the students to participate in national and international moot court competitions.

Doon College of Law offers three years Bachelor of Law (LLB), five years integrated Bachelor of Arts & Law (BA LLB (Hons.)) & two years Master of Law (LLM). There are 180 seats available for BA LLB (Hons.) Programme.

Admission

Students seek admission into LLB course, they have to pass bachelor’s degree examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST Category). Those students want admission in BA LLB (Hons.), they have to complete their 10+2 or any other equivalent examination. To get admission into LLB course, students have to qualify the law entrance exam. Students will get direct admission in BA LLB (Hons.) by filling the application form of the college.
