The Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET) were placed in the year of 2009 as a constituent organization and a fundamental part of the Dibrugarh University. The University is set up with due support from the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The main mission of the university is to develop a world-class institute to deliver quality engineers with capability, ability and assurance.

Campus

DUIET is to be found within the Dibrugarh University campus, which is situated in the town of Dibrugarh in Upper Assam. The Campus has outstanding infrastructure amenities. The University Campus is associated with roads, rails and waterways. The NH No. 37 goes through the campus of the university. The Campus reaches out over an area of more than 500 sections of land.

Facilities

The University has a huge lab facility which is well-resourced with the modern equipments and instruments. The Computer Laboratories of the University have a most recent PC with internet facilities. The University library has a well-stocked of books and diaries for student’s advantages. The University provides separate hostel facility for all boys and girls under the caretaker of skilled wardens and support staffs.

Placement

The DUIET creates a training and placement cell with experienced professionals to help and execute T & C cell activities of the University. The training and placement cell needs to encourage contacts between organizations and students. It helps in arranging pre-placement talks, composed tests, group discussions, personal interviews for student personality development.
