Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology, Dehradun

Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology (DBIT) is a private and self-financing institution, has been established in the year 2005 under the roof of the Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions (DBGI) as an oldest college of this group. The college is affiliated to the UTU, Dehradun. The college is approved by the AICTE and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education. The constituent colleges of DBGI runs various courses in the field of engineering, technology, management, agriculture, etc.

Campus:

The DBIT campus is spread over in 42 acres of land located on the foothills of the great Himalaya’s Range and 15 km from the Dehradun City on Chakrata Road (NH-72). The campus is 25 km away from the Jolly Grant Airport.

Programmes:

The DBIT is offering B.Tech degree programme in seven branches and M.Tech programme in five specializations of engineering and technology. The DBIT campus invites the admission on more than 810 seats as the annual intake in all offered programmes guided by 19 heads of the departments, beside a strong faculty team out of which 25% are the PhD holders.

The DBIT campus provides the excellent infrastructure facilities. The campus provides the in-house hostels separate for boys & girls, indoor & outdoor sports facility, PNB ATM, student service centre, 9 computer centres, laboratories, medical facility, transportation and a central library having more than 25000 volumes & 11000 titles.

Activities:

The campus organizes the cultural & technical festival as the showcase of the student’s hidden talent in the area of dance, music, drama, poetry and creative ideas. The campus arranges the fresher party.

Placement:

The DBIT campus has been established a training & placement cell named the Corporate Resources Centre for providing the job placement to the students.
