Department of Business Administration, Berhampur University, Berhampur is a public university which was established in the year 1986 and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). The institution offers education in various disciplines like computer science, management, arts and commerce etc.

Campus

The university is situated in Berhampur, Odisha. The university is spread in an area of two hundred fifty acres of land. It is twelve kilometres and 5 kilometers away from the Berhampur City and sea-beach of Gopalpur respectively.

Facilities

The university has a library which has a rich collection of textbooks and reference books by establish and renowned authors, magazines and national and international journals to fulfill academic needs of the faculty members and students. The university provides the facility of lecture halls which are equipped with modern communication system like LCD seminar hall, conference hall, a well-facilitated computer centre and various other recreational facilities like cafeteria, sports facility etc.

Programmes

The Department of Business Administration, Berhampur University provides two years full-time programme in Master of Business Administration (MBA). The MBA programme is divided into four semesters with a compulsory summer internship project. The first two semesters of the curriculum provides basic knowledge of business management including development of skills required by professional managements while in the second year students can take any specializations of their choice.

Placement

The institution has a placement cell which provides career guidance and placement assistance to the students. It provides summer internship to the students and also arranges for various activities like preparing students for group discussion, interview and aptitude test.
