Delhi Institute of Rural Development,Nangli Poona, Delhi was established in the year 2002. The institution is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and approved by Govt of NCT Delhi.

Campus

The institution is located in Nanglipuna, New Delhi. The campus is fully wi-fi and can be easily accessed through any means of transportation by road,rail and air.

Facilities

The institution provides all the necessary facilities to the students such as air-conditioned and spacious classrooms, library which has a collection of management books, journals, periodicals and online databases, well facilitated computer labs, lecture halls, guest house and various other recreational facilities like cafeteria, transportation facility, sports facility etc.

Programmes

The institution offers programme in Bachelor of Business Adminiatration (BBA). It offers BBA General and BBA in Banking and Insurance programme. The duration of the BBA course is three years. In first two years students study all the subjects related to the field of management to clear their basics and in the third year they can take any of the specializations of their choice.

Placement

The institution is having a training and placement cell which is headed by the placement officer. The placement cell organizes personality development workshops and arranges for industrial exposure opportunities. The placement cell organizes campus recruitment for the students with industries and various organizations of repute firm from all over India. The placement cell also gives emphasis on conduct and communication skills of the students. The following companies have come for the campus placement Eon Technologies,TATA AIG and WNS Global etc.
