Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DPSRU), New Delhi

The Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DPSRU), is the first University of Pharmacy in India. It is Delhi state university which was enacted by Delhi Government Legislation. The university is located in DIPSAR campus, Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, Pushp Vihar Sector 3 New Delhi 110015, India. It is affiliated with the University of Delhi and approved by PCI. It offers the UG and PG courses in Pharmacy.

Campus

The campus of the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research was established in 1979. It is spread over lush green land of 10.5 acres at Pushp Vihar, New Delhi. It was upgraded from college of Pharmacy and now emerged as Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DPSRU). It was formed under the Department of Training and Technical Education. The college has state-of-art infrastructure. The faculty of the each department in the campus is well experienced.

Facilities

The college provides the many facilities for the students of the college. There are separate Departments for every course offered by the University. It provides the Instrumentation Facilities, Laboratory facilities, Residential facilities, Central facilities and many more other facilities like canteen, hostels for boys and girls, Sports ground, Library, Gymnasium, etc.

The University offers four-year Undergraduate and two-year Post Graduate course. It is also provide the Ph.D in Pharmacy and Quality Improvement Programme. The Pharmacy courses offered by the University are as follows:

University has active placement cell which is very well-coordinated by the in-charge. It provides the placement for the students of UG and PG courses. It gives 100% placement in leading national and multinational Pharmaceutical companies. All the Bachelors and Masters students are placed in many national and multinational Pharmaceutical companies through campus interviews.
