Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra
Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) was established in the year of 1973 as a private and self-financed college founded by his holiness Param Guru Huzur MehtaJi Maharaj. Since the year 1981, it has been approved by UGC as an autonomous Deemed University. It is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Government of UP.
Campus:
DEI is situated in Dayalbagh at 2 km away from the northern outskirts of the Agra city, The district of Uttar Pradesh. The campus is well-connected by the local conveyance beside the transportation provided by the campus. The campus formed after merge of three technical colleges in order of state government.
Faculty & Students:
The University has provided the facility of well qualified more than 300 members of faculty including with the core and guest as well. The total intake capacity is more than 2000 students in all departments.
Facilities:
The university has a state of the art infrastructure with some major facilities like central library, a vast computer centre, games & sports, separated hostels for boys and girls, language lab, medical and healthcare centre, multimedia laboratory, canteen and transportation facility.

The DEI organizes national seminars, national conference, national workshops and celebrates various student activities like technical, cultural, social, literal and sports activities.

The university is conducting certificate, diploma, UG, PG and PhD programmes in various fields of academic and professional education. The university conducts more than 80 regular courses in all aspects of education. The university has been started the facility of distance education since 2008.
