D.S.T.S. Mandal’s College of Pharmacy, Solapur

The foundation of D.S.T.S. Mandal’s College of Pharmacy, Solapur was laid down in the year 1980. The college is running under the aegis of Dakshin Solapur Taluka Shikshan (D.S.T.S.) Mandal. The college is affiliated to the Solapur University, Solapur and has been approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.

Campus

D.S.T.S. Mandal’s College of Pharmacy is located on Vijapur Road, Jule Solapur-1, Solapur, Maharashtra. It comprises of fully functional administrative block and academic block. The campus is surrounded by greenery including medicinal plants and is well-connected by roads.

Facilities

The college has well-equipped laboratories of computer and Industrial Pharmacy. The computers are equipped with latest configuration and high speed internet facility. Besides these, it has seminar hall with sufficient seating capacity, spacious lecture halls and an indoor open air Auditorium for cultural and other ceremonial activities. The sports facilities include Cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, 200 meter running track, long jump, double bar & indoor facility for tennis, table tennis, carom etc. The Library is an integral part of college. The college library is huge and well-stocked.

Programmes

D.S.T.S. Mandal’s College of Pharmacy, Solapur offers B.Pharma, M.Pharma and Ph.D in Pharmacy. The duration of B.Pharma programme is 4-years and 2-years of M.Pharma. The M.pharma can be done either in Pharmaceutics or Quality Assurance. The offered courses are mentioned below:

Placement

The placement cell at D.S.T.S. Mandal’s College of Pharmacy, Solapur actively bridges the gap between the students and corporate organizations.
