D.R. Karigowda College of Pharmacy, Kuvempunagar

D.R. Karigowda College of Pharmacy, Kuvempunagar was established in the year 1992 by Boovanahally Channakeshava Swami Vidya samiti. It is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi and affiliated to RGUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science). The ambition of college is to provide better education facilities in the Hassan city and neighboring villages in General education as well as Professional Educations.

Campus

The college is located in the Hassan city, one of the cities in Karnataka, located in 185 km from Bangalore and 170 km from Mangalore. The society has other institutions which offer courses in various disciplines. The college has highly qualified and eminent faculties in the campus for all departments. The college city is well-connected by road, rail and air to the other cities in the country.

Facilities

The college has well-furnished spacious. The computer department of the college is equipped with adequate no. of computers and with modern & latest technologies. The classrooms with modern teaching aids are used by the faculty such as slide projectors, PA systems and Over- head projectors. The college has a central library enriched with collections of text books, journals, periodicals, news paper, magazines, and competitive exam books. The college has other facilities in campus like hostels, cafeteria, transport, medical etc.
