Cooch Behar Polytechnic, Cooch Behar was come into existence on August 10, 1964. The name of the “Cooch Behar Polytechnic” was established for imparting Diploma level Engineering and Pharmacy education. It came under the direct control of Government of West Bengal in February; 1978.It is affiliated with AICTE, New Delhi.

Campus

The campus of the Cooch Behar Polytechnic was established in 1964. It is spread over lush green land of 4.4 acres of land. It was formed under the Department of Training and Technical Education. The institution has state-of-art infrastructure. The faculty of the each department in the campus is well-experienced and qualified in their departments.

Facilities

The institution provides many facilities for the students of the college. There are separate Departments for every course offered by the institution. It provides the Instrumentation Facilities, Laboratory facilities, Residential facilities, Central facilities and many more other facilities like canteen, hostels for boys and girls, Sports ground, Library, Gymnasium, etc.

Programmes

Cooch Behar Polytechnic, Cooch Behar offers the Diploma courses in Engineering & technology and Pharmacy. It offered diploma of Engineering in four branches viz. Automobile, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. The Diploma in Pharmacy is of three years of duration with 40, maximum intake capacity. The courses offerd by the institution are approved by AICTE & PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), New Delhi. The Pharmacy courses offered is given below:

The institute has an active placement cell which is very well-established by the combine members of the cell. It provides the placement for the every student. It gives placement in leading national and multinational Pharmaceutical companies. All the students are placed in many national and multinational Pharmaceutical companies through campus interviews.
