College of Dental Sciences and Hospital (CDSH), Indore came into existence in the year of 1999. The college was established by Vajdi Educational Society. It is affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. The college is recognized by Govt. of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Dept. of Health, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi. It is approved by Dental Council of India.
Campus
The campus of CDSH is located near Hotel Mashal, Rau near Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The college campus is spread over more than 7.7 acres of land. The constructed area of the college is spread more than 1, 36,000 Sq. ft. land. It is also well-connected by road, rail and air transportation. The campus is situated only 13 km from Indore Railway Station and 10 km from the Airport. The college is attached to the Choitram Hospital & Research Centre, Indore.
Facilities
The college has an administrative block and Dental Hospital Building. There is a different accommodation for both; boys and girls. The college also offers staff quarters, cafeteria, gymnasium, playground, guest house, ATM, nationalized bank, and Post Office facilities. CDSH has a collation of well-equipped dental clinic,lecture-halls, laboratories and libraries. The library has a rich collection of books, national and international journals, newspapers, magazines, etc.
Programmes
College of Dental Sciences and Hospital (CDSH), Indore offers 5 year degree course that is Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) including internship period. It also offers Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). There are 60 seats available for the BDS programme.
