CMJ University, Meghalaya

The CMJ University is the first private university of Meghalaya. The university was founded in the year of 2009 under the aegis of CMG Group. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It has started its first academic session in the year of 2010-2011.

Campus

The University campus is spread over a 40 acre on a beautiful hill in Jorabat on the Guwahati-Shillong Highway. It has amazing 360 degree views of the scenic hills. The university has a built up area of more than 1, 50,000 sq ft.

Facilities

There is a facility of modern classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, well stocked library and well qualified faculty. The university has a separate accommodation for Boys & Girls. There are also a canteen facility, computer centers and sports facilities.

Programmes

The CMJ University provides both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes. It also offers diploma courses in Engineering and Technology.
