Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai
Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) was formed in the 30 April 2005. It was founded by an Act (No.25 0f 2004) of the Legislature approved by the Chhattisgarh State Govt. Assembly. The University was laid by the former Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India. It was a Public University that was approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Campus
The CSVTU campus is located at North Park Avenue, Sector-8, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. The campus is spread over 250 acres of land that was donated by the Bhilai Steel Plant for infrastructure development. The campus of the university is well-established with all the modern facilities with separate academic blocks and student’s blocks.
Facilities
The University has a facility of gym, medical, laboratory, computer labs (with high speed internet connectivity), cafeteria and sports. There is separate accommodation for boys and girls with mess facility. The library has a huge collection of journals, books, magazines and newspaper with large reading hall. There is also a seminar hall, endless playground for Indoor and outdoor games. The CSVTU have a well- equipped auditorium with fully air-conditioned facilities to arrange cultural programs, seminars and for various purposes.

The Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University offers different programmes in the field of engineering, medical, pharmacy and management. The University provides two year Master of Business Administration (Full-Time and Part-Time).
