Chandola Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Udham Singh Nagar

Chandola Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital (CHMC&H), Udham Singh Nagar came into existence in the year of 2002. The college is run by Chandola Educational Trust and managed by Managing Trustee Dr. K. C. Chandola. The CHMC&H is affiliated to the Kumaun University, Nanital and recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy.

Campus

The college is located at Rudrapur, Kichha Road, Distt. Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. The campus is well-linked with the road and railway transportation. The college is situated in just 7 km away from both Rudrapur & Kichha Railway Station. The college campus is directly connected with the National Highway 74. The campus is spread in an area of 10 acre land.

Facilities

The College offers various facilities to the students such as workshops, seminar hall, auditorium, canteen, sports and museum. There is a well-equipped practical lab facility for various departments. The central library of the college has a sufficient amount of books and journals related to Homoeopathy and allied subjects in medical sciences and various other fields with reading room for all. The classrooms are well-established with the modern audio-visual equipments. There is also a separate hostel accommodation for Boys and Girls.

Programmes

Chandola Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital (CHMC&H), Udham Singh Nagar provides 5 ½ years Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS). There are 50 seats available for the BHMS students out of which 25 seats will be filled on the basis of Uttrakhand Pre Medical Test and other 25 seats will be allocated on the basis of AIPMT.

Internship

After the passing the Final Degree Examination, the college offers one year compulsory rotational internship to the students of BHMS. The internship shall be undertaken at the hospital that is attached to the college.
