Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer

Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), Ajmer is a central university that was established in the year of 2009 by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009). The University is approved by the UGC (University Grants Commission). CURAJ runs various schools in the field of Architecture, Commerce & Management, Engineering and Technology, Chemical Sciences and Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Humanities & Languages and many more.

Campus

The Campus is situated NH-8, Bandar Sindri, Ajmer, Rajasthan. The CURAJ campus is spread over 518 acres of land. The near commuter railway station is in Kishangarh that is located 20 km far away from campus. The nearest major railway station is located in Ajmer. The campus is well-established with all the necessary latest facilities.

Facilities

The CURAJ gives the facility of fully furnished hostels with the mess. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls with 24 hour security guard availability. The University has a well-stocked library with more than 25000 books, including references and subscribed and also 8000 online journals. The Library also has a 100 National & International print journals. There is also a smart classrooms, canteen, Bank with the ATM, Post-office, professionally maintained playgrounds and gymnasium.

The University has a separate Training and Placement Cell that invites different companies for the Management students.
