Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ), Ranchi

The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) was established in the year 2009 by an act of Indian Parliament. CUJ is the central University approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is a teaching and research University that offers integrated master programme in management. It also runs doctoral and diploma courses under its institution.

Campus

The temporary campus of CUJ is situated in the capital city of Jharkhand, Ranchi. The University has its 45 acres vibrant green campus at Brambe, Ranchi. It is only 25 Kms away from the Ranchi city. The University has its permanent campus at Cheri-Manatu that is 10 kms away from the Ranchi city. The new campus of CUJ is under construction.

Facilities

CUJ has the exclusive air-conditioned classrooms, a large auditorium, language laboratory, computer and research laboratory, on-campus hostel facility, staff quarters, guest house, etc. Apart from these facilities, there is a gym facility for girls, boys and staff members. Sport facility is also available for the overall development the students. Other facilities include bank, canteen, mess and ATM.

Programmes

Central University of Jharkhand offers the 5-year integrated programme in Business Administration. The students are provided with all the compulsory specializations. The admission to the MBA course offered by CUJ will be done on the basis of the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET).

Placement

CUJ has an active placement cell that assures the students with 100% placement. The career guidance lectures followed by the eminent speakers are also conducted in CUJ.
