Cambridge Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib

Cambridge Engineering College, (CEC) Fatehgarh Sahib is an engineering college located in Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab. The college was established in the year 2011, with the objective to provide quality education in the field of engineering and technology. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar and approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE) New Delhi and Government of Punjab. The college is also certified by ISO 9000:2000 certification.

Campus:

The educational campus comprised of administrative blocks, amenities, seminar hall, workshops and hostels. The CEC is located in Jaura Pul, State Highway 12A, and hence connected to all major cities of the state.

Programmes:

The college is offering various courses in undergraduate and postgraduate engineering discipline. All the courses offered by the college are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Punjab Technical University.

Facilities:

The facilities provided by the students include spacious and ventilated classrooms, well equipped labs and workshops, computer labs having good amount of computer equipped with latest hardware and software, the college also provides library facility to the students. The library comprising of thousands of books and journals, newspaper and magazines facility is also available in the library to keep the students updated with the latest information. The other facility includes hostel, mess, canteen, sports and transportation.

Placement:

The college has a separate Training and Placement cell which helps the students of final and pre final year in the training and placement activities. The cell gives a platform to the students by inviting companies, to visit the college for the campus recruitment of the students of CEC. The cell also facilitates soft skills classes, PDP classes, industrial visits, pre-placement talks, job listings etc.

Activities:

The college encourages students to participate in the extracurricular activities apart from their curriculum, so as to develop confidence in their abilities.
