Programme
Calcutta National Medical College & Hospital offers undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. The duration of the MBBS programme is five and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year. The admission to this course is made through a merit list prepared on the basis of the score of the candidates in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Internship
The students enrolled for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme has to do the compulsory rotational internship of one year. The internship refers to one-year compulsory work in the hospital attached to the medical college or in any other approved hospital as allowed in some medical colleges(also known as Teaching Hospital), for a period of one year.
