Bhai Maha Singh College of Engineering, Muktsar
Bhai Maha Singh College of Engineering, (BMSCE) Muktsar, is a private aided engineering college established in the year 2002. The college is a part of Adesh group of institutions and named after great Sikh Martyr Bhai Maha Singh. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar, recognized by Government of Punjab, and approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE) New Delhi.
Campus:
The BMSCE is located at at Kotkapura Road in Muktsar district of Punjab. The college campus is located in a lush green and pollution free environment and spread in an area of 26acres. The college is well planned and comprises of all major facilities.
Programmes:
The college is offering five courses in undergraduate engineering discipline leading to the degree of B.tech with the total intake capacity of 480 students, and three courses in a postgraduate engineering discipline leading to the degree of M.tech, with the overall intake capacity of 72 students. The other courses offered by BMSCE include MBA and MCA.
Facilities:
The core facilities provided by the college includes well equipped labs and workshops, spacious and well ventilated classrooms, the college has a well stocked library with more than 15000 books, 700 e-journals, central reading hall, subscription to leading newspapers and magazines. A computer centre with equipped hardware and software. The other facilities include transportation facility, separate hostel facility for boys and girls, seminar hall, mess and canteen facility etc.
Placement:
The Training and Placement cell of the college provides ample placement opportunities to the students of final year. The cell has ensured 100% placement of its first batch. The cell training and career guidance to the students so that they can have a successful career. The college arranges industrial interaction and personality development programs for the students so that they can be industry fit and become the professional of upcoming generations.
