Bhagwan Mahavir Institute of Engineering & Technology (BMIET) has been established in the year 1999 as a private, self-financing and Jain minority institution set up by the Bhagwan Mahavir Education Trust. The BMIET is affiliated to the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Sonepat. The BMIET is approved by the AICTE and DTE Haryana. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.
Campus:
The BMIET campus is sited on Sonepat – Bahalgarh Road behind Fazilpur Substation in Sonepat, the district of Haryana. The BMIET campus is spread over 11 acres of land. The campus is placed on the outskirt of the city and well-connected to the National Highway-1. The BMIET is less than 20 km away from the Delhi and comes under the National Capital Region.

The BMIET provides the transportation facility, separate hostel exist for boys & girls, canteen, sports complex, library with huge volume of books, in-house banking facility, auditorium, mess, medical facility, lawn, common rooms and residential accommodation for the staff.
Activities:
The BMIET organizes the outdoor tour every year for its students. The college organizes competition in its annual function, participates in festivals and competition organized by various institutions. The institution offers 90% waiver upon the tuition fees for the meritorious students who had scored above 70% marks in intermediate exam.
Placement:
