Balurghat Law College, Dakshin Dinajpur is the affiliated college of University of Gour Banga, West Bengal. The college was set up in the year of 2001. It is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi & Government of West Bengal.

Campus

The College is located in the heart of the town of Balurghat, District Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal. The college campus is well-connected with the road transportation facility. The college has a separate academic block and students block.

The college has a spacious & ventilated classroom with the facility of LCD Projector & teaching aids. Programmes

Balurghat Law College, Dakshin Dinajpur runs full-time five years integrated law programme, i.e. Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Law (BA LLB). The intake of seats available for the BA LLB degree course is 80 students.

Admission

The admission into this course will be strictly based on the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination. Students have to complete their higher secondary or any other equivalent examination from a recognized Board. Students have to secure minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category) in the qualifying examination. The student age should be 20 years as on 1st July admission year. There is two years age relaxation for SC/ST Category students.
