Army institute of technology was established in the year 1994 the college is located in pune Maharashtra and affiliated to university of pune and approved by all India council for technical education. The college is managed by army welfare education society (AWES) and the chief of the army staff of the Indian army being the president of the board of governors. The AIT is accredited by NBA and certified with ISO 9001:2000 certification.

Campus:

The campus of AIT is located in beautiful dighi hills spread in an area of 30 acres, having a beautiful and picturesque view. The college has state of the art infrastructure with all necessary amenities comprising of all major facilities.
