Al- Ameen Medical College was started in the month of September 1984. The institution offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in nursing, medicine and postgraduate courses in medical specialties and super-specialties. The institution is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI) New Delhi.
Campus
The institution is situated in Bijapur, Karnataka. The college premises are spread in an area of two hundred acres of land. The campus is well established with all the necessary facilities for the all round development of the students.
Facilities
The classrooms are well furnished and equipped with computers, LCD and overhead projection systems and internet connections to facilitate students in their studies. The institution houses a library stocked with the selection of books, journals, magazines, reports, etc. To organize events and functions an auditorium is provided. The institution has a computer lab which is equipped with the latest configuration.The institution has a conference room. It also has a cafeteria and also provides sports facility to the students.

Al-Ameen Medical College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the medical field. The institution offers undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme for the duration of five and a half years. The institution also offers postgraduate degree in Doctor of Medicine (MD) which is for the duration of three years.
