Aklia Degree College (ADC), Bathinda

The Aklia Degree College established in 2008. It is affiliated to Punjab technical University (PTU), Patiala and duly recognized by the UGC. It is situated on the Highway of Bathinda-Amritsar road. It offers the degree courses in the various disciplines of Computer Application, Engineering & technology, Business Administration, Arts, Commerce, education and Agriculture.

Campus

Infrastructure is the backbone of the campus. It is the integration of material and human resources on which the developments of the institution depends. The campus of Aklia Educational & Research Society were spread over 15 acres of land. The construction work is in progress to cater to the needs of a well-equipped hi-tech modern building. More and more facilities are being added on a regular basis.

Facilities

The Aklia Education & Research Society offered various facilities for the students in the campus of the college. It provided facilities regarding all primary needs of the students. It has dispensary, gymnasium, canteen, transport, PCO, WI-Fi, library, sports and departmental laboratories.

Placement

The placement cell provides guidance and assistance to students by inviting officers from industry and academia to share their knowledge and experience with the students. The cell conducts the seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, workshops, etc. It creates the interface between the industry and students. The placement cell publishes the placement brochure and organizes summer and final placements. The placement cell firmly believes in “Industry-Institute Interaction”.
