Akal College of Pharmacy & Technical Education, Sangrur
Akal College of Pharmacy & Technical Education was founded in 2001. It is approved by the AICTE, PCI and CPCSEA. The college is affiliated with the Punjab Technical University. It is located in the Mastauna Sahib, Pun jab, Sangrur. It offers the various courses in many disciplines such as B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology. It also provides the training and placement cell every year.
Campus
The campus of the college is spread over on wide area. The campus is situated in the Mastuana Sahib Barnala Road, Mastuana Sahib, Punjab, India, Sangrur. It is double storey administrative blocks. The campus is fully connected with the other location. The campus has Wi-Fi facility too. Students can reach the college by public transport.
Facilities
Besides the basic facilities like a fully computerized library, hostels for boys and girls, gym and yoga studio, computer lab, Wi-Fi campus and a well equipped dispensary, Akal College of Pharmacy & Technical Education have other facilities like Toxicology and Animal house, Machine room (Industrial Lab), Pharmacology lab, Pharmacognosy Lab, Anatomy lab, Pharmaceutics chemistry, Instrumentation room, etc. It also provides the extra curricula activities.

Placement
Every year college conducts the placement activity for the student to get placed in the topmost companies of the pharmacy in India or outside the India. Many companies visited the campus and select the many students with high salary packages. The placement cell has also video conference facility for the students. The placement cell invites the many industrial companies or drug making companies. Some visited companies are Ranbaxy, Cipla, Ricela, Novartis, Prakriti, etc.
