Ahmedabad University, Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad University, Ahmedabad was developed by the Ahmedabad Education Society (AES) in July, 2009. It is a self-financed, non-affiliating private University of Indian state Gujarat. It has been granted with the university status under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. The University regulates under-graduate, post-graduate and doctoral courses in various disciplines. The delivery of state-of-the-art education is done through the highly experienced and qualified faculty.

Campus

The Campus of Ahmedabad University is situated in the heart of Ahmedabad city, Gujarat. Many educational institutions namely ATIRA, CEPT, IIM, PRL etc are located near the University. The campus is well-networked by all modes of transportation. It has total 250 acres of land, out of which 75 acres is reserved for the academic building and amenities.

Facilities

The University has excellent infrastructural facilities. It is equipped with all the basic as well as advanced facilities. The environment of the University is pleasant and pollution-free. There is also a fooding arrangement for the students in canteen and mess. Apart from this, refreshments and snacks are also available in cafeteria. For physical development of the student, sports activities are conducted in regular basis. The main emphasis will be given on student’s practical knowledge. The University has labs of all the departments equipped with modern aids.
