Agni College of Technology Kancheepuram

Agni College of Technology was established on 2001 by Sri Balaji charitable and educational trust.The college is affiliated to Anna University. The college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) New Delhi and an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.

Campus:

The college is situated in Thalambur, 20 km away from Adyar and 3 km away from Navalur at Old Mahabalipuram Road. the campus is off the IT Highway and is well-connected by the road.

The ACT offers the admission over around 820 seats as the annual intake capacity of all programmes and more than 172 faculty members from all departments.

The college provides canteen facility, separated hostel for boys and girls, sport field, central library, health centre, internet, bank, central laboratory and transportation facility.

Activities:

College gives opportunity to work in social field like, go green camp, environment awareness camp, blood donation camp and other social service activities under the flag of Youth Red Cross (YRC). The centre for research and development was inaugurated on 30th April 2012 by great scientist of ISRO and the project director of chandrayan Dr. Mylswamayannadurai.

Placement:

The training & placement of the ACT is well-established  and working full-fledged in the placement services for the students.
