Bansal Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET) was established in the year 2008 as a private and self-financed institute set up by the Meerut Education and Research Foundation. The college is affiliated to the Mahamaya Technical University, Noida. The college is approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The college is recognized by the UP Board of Technical Education and State Government of UP.
Campus:
The college is situated on the National Highway-58 in Village Pawli Khas at post Modipuram in Meerut, the district of UP. The college is located near to the Pawli Khas Railway Station. The college is well-connected by the roads and rail.
Programmes:
The BIET is offering 4 year full-time B.Tech degree in 5 disciplines and 3 year Diploma programmes in 2 disciplines of engineering and technology. The admission in B.Tech and polytechnic is to be done by UP state entrance examination and on Merit basis.
Facilities:
The college provides a hygienic cafeteria, separated hostels for the boys and the girls, training and placement cell, medical facility, transport facility, well equipped labs and workshops, a well stocked library, a big sports ground and spacious classrooms.
Placement:
The college has a training and placement cell providing the summer trainings and internships. Indiamart, Shriram, ANNIK and Ryaka are the main recruiters of the college. The cell also provides the guest lectures and industrial visits.
The college conducts yoga classes, group discussion, brainstorming sessions, technical seminars, workshops and other extracurricular activities such as debates.
