Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) is a university level entrance examination. VIT University conducts entrance exam to provide admission into various UG Engineering degree courses.

• The VITEEE 2025 application form has been released from 5th November 2024.

VITEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the given section to know complete VITEEE 2025 eligibility criteria:

• Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must complete class 12^th level or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• Nationality: Applying candidates should be Resident/ Non-resident Indian Nationals/ PIO/ OCI.
• Those NRI candidates can directly apply under “NRI Category” through NRI application form.
• Subjects: Candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology subjects in qualifying exam will be eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: To apply for UG engineering admission, candidates must be born on or after 1^st July 2003.
• Marks: At least 60% marks aggregate must be score by general candidates & 50% marks for SC/ ST candidates and those who belong to state of Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the Northeastern states.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2025 will also be eligible to apply for the exam.

• Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through online (CBT) mode only.
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam.
• Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes will be given to complete the exam.
• Medium: English language will be available to appear in the exam.
• Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded.
• Negative Marking: No negative marking will be there in the exam.

VITEEE 2025 Admit Card

VITEEE 2025 admit card will be released in the month of April 2025. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket through online mode. Login details such as application form number and online test booking password will be required to download it.

Those registered candidates will be eligible to download admit card from the website. Those candidates who will book their slots through online test booking system will get their admit card. Candidates are advised to keep the hardcopy of the admit card safe till the exam day.

VITEEE 2025 Result

VITEEE 2025 Result will be published on 30th April 2025. Result will be released through online mode on the website of VIT University.. There will be no offline method provided to check result. Candidates will have to visit the website to download the result.

Login credentials such as email ID and password will be required to access result. The university will send an email to the registered email ID regarding the declaration of result. A merit list for the candidates will also be released by the university on the basis of the marks secured in entrance exam.

VITEEE 2025 Cut Off

After the declaration of result, applicants will be able to check out the cut off on the website. It will refer to the closing ranks for each courses offered by the authority. To check the VITEEE 2025 cut off, candidates will have to visit the website through online mode.

Those candidates who will score more than cut off marks will be qualified and considered for further admission. On the basis of the numbers of candidates who will appeared in the exam, highest marks scored in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, the cut off marks will be set by the authority.

VITEEE 2025 Counselling

VITEEE counselling procedure will be organized in the month of May 2025. Candidates will be able participate in the counselling procedure through online mode. Those qualified candidates in the exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling sessions. Candidates will have to register through online mode to participate in counselling.

Details such as category details, preferred courses, and campus will be required to fill in the form. For verification procedure, candidates will have to carry the original documents at the center.
