CDS Result: The UPSC, on 28th April 2025, has officially announced the CDS 2025 result for session 1. A total of 8516 candidates have qualified for CDS 1.
Examination for the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025 session was held on 13th April 2025, and result for the same is available at upsc.gov.in
To check the result, candidates are not required to log in, as the list of CDS 2025 selected candidates is released in PDF format.
Steps To Check CDS Result
You can view the CDS 1 2025 result PDF by following the instructions below:
- Visit the CDS 2025 website (link is given below)
- On the homepage click on “examination” section.
- From the dropdown menu, select the “Active examination” option.
- Click on “Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025” option.
- Click on “CDS 1 2025 Result” link.
- A PDF for result details and candidates’ list will be displayed.
- Search your roll number and save the list for further use.

Once after downloading the result is downloaded, candidates are required to check all the details in it very carefully, and if any mistake is found, contact the authority for correction. Candidates should note that the list of selected candidates is provisional.
Those who qualified in the CDS written exam and were given their first choice as Army (IMA/OTA) are required to register themselves on the recruiting directorate website joinindianarmy.nic.in in order to enable them to receive call-up information for SSB interview.
Those candidates who have already registered on the recruiting directorate website are advised not to register again. Marksheets of candidates who have not qualified will be available on the Commission’s website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result of OTA (after conducting SSB Interview) and will remain available on the website for a period of 30 days.
