To fill UPESEAT 2025 application form, candidates can check complete steps below:
- Step-1: Visit the website of UPES (Link is given above).
- Step-2: On the homepage, click on the “Apply Now” link.
- Step-3: Start with the registration procedure by submitting the basic details.
- Step-4: Fill the application form with details such as qualification details, communication details, etc.
- Step-5: After filling the details, press “submit” button and proceed to the next step.
- Step-6: Upload the requisite documents such as passport size photograph & other documents in prescribed format.
- Step-7: Submit the application fee using available payment gateways.
- Step-8: Press the “Submit” button.

UPESEAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the given section to know UPESEAT eligibility criteria:
- Nationality: To be eligible, candidates must be Indian as well as foreign nationals.
- Qualification: Candidates must pass their secondary and senior secondary examination to apply.
- Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must pass with 50% marks aggregate to apply.
- Subjects: In class 12th exam, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Board: Candidates must pass with minimum 80% marks in class 10th & 12th class to apply. This will be applicable on-board merit only.
- SAT & CUET: Applicants with SAT & CUET scores will be eligible to apply. The SAT cut off will be announced soon.
- JEE Main: Those qualified candidates in JEE main exam will be eligible to apply. Only applicable for JEE Main merit.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in final exam of class 12th in 2025 also eligible to apply.
UPESEAT 2025 Exam Pattern

- Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted through remote based CBT (Online) mode.
- Medium: English language will be available to appear in exam.
- Duration: 2 hours will be provided for remote based online exam.
- Total Questions: Total 125 questions will be asked in online examination.
- Type of Questions: Exam will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) only.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking will be there for incorrect response.

UPESEAT 2025 Admit Card
The UPES will issue UPESEAT admit card in the third week of April 2025. Candidates will be able to download hall ticket through online mode. The download link will be updated on this page after releasing in UPES website.
Candidates will be required UPES login such as Email ID and Password to access the admit card. Before downloading the UPESEAT 2025 admit card, candidates will have to book their preferred date for exam and time through online mode.
UPESEAT 2025 Result
The result of UPESEAT 2025 will be declared in the month of June 2025. Login details such as registration number, roll number, date of birth will be required to download result. Candidates will have to visit the website of UPES, Dehradun to access the result. It will be downloaded through online mode only.
There will be no offline method will be provided to check UPESEAT result. In result, section-wise and category-wise marks and ranking will be there. Three separate merit list will be published by the university. A separate merit list will also release for those candidates who want admission through UPESEAT exam, JEE Main exam scores and board exam scores.
UPESEAT 2025 Cut Off
University will release the UPESEAT cut off through online mode. Based on the various factors such as marks scored, difficulty level, the cut off will be published. It will be the minimum marks which candidates should scores in exam to become eligible for further counselling procedure.
To participate in counselling procedure, it will be mandatory to score cut off marks. Based on the cut off marks, the candidates will be invited to participate in admission procedure. University will prepare the cut off marks on the basis of various factors such as:
- Total number of candidates appeared in UPESEAT 2025
- Highest marks obtained by the candidates.
- Number of seats available.
- Pass proportion of applicants
- Difficulty level of entrance exam.
UPESEAT 2025 Counselling
Those qualified candidates in entrance exam will be eligible to participate in counselling sessions. UPESEAT counselling will be organized from July 2025. Counselling of UPESEAT 2025 will be centralized counselling which will be based on the exam merit list, class 12th board, and JEE Main. Selected candidates will have to report to the center for further counselling procedure.
There will be various stages in counselling such as registration, filling of college preference, documents verification, seat allotment, fee payment, etc. For verification process, candidates will have to carry some of the important documents at the center. After verifying all the important documents, the seats will be allotted to the candidates.
