The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) is a private university established in 2003. Admission is offered into various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in Engineering, Design, Law, Management, etc. Candidates need to appear for UPESEAT (UPES Engineering Aptitude Test) for B.Tech admission.

For MBA admissions, qualifying UPESMET (UPES MBA Entrance Exam) is required. As per NIRF 2024 Rankings, UPES is ranked 46 in India, 28th in Law, 41 in Management, and 42 in Engineering category.

UPES 2025 Application Form

Before filling out the UPES 2025 application form, candidates need to know everything about it. So, below have provided all the information regarding the UPES 2025 registration form:

• UPES, Dehradun application forms 2025 has been released for UG/ PG.
• Registration forms for UPES, Dehradun will be available online.
• Candidates need to fill in details like Email ID, phone number, academic qualification, and other details in the registration form.
• After filling complete details in the application form, candidates need to upload scanned photographs and signatures in the required format.
• An application correction window will be provided to candidates by UPES, in case of any error in the application form.
• UPESEAT 2025 will be held in CBT mode from 23rd- 25th January 2025.
• Candidates also need to download the UPES 2025 application form for future reference.

Documents Required for UPES Registration:

While applying for UPES 2025 admission, candidates need to submit some of the documents. Here’s the detailed list of documents that are required while filling out the UPES 2025 application form:

• Class 10th mark sheet/ passing certificate
• Class 12th mark sheet/ passing certificate
• Graduation certificate/ mark sheet (in case of PG courses)
• Email ID and phone number 
• Scanned images of passport size photograph and signature
• photo ID card 
• Domicile (if a resident of Uttarakhand), etc.

UPES 2025 Application Fee:

• To complete the application process, candidates need to pay the UPESEAT 2025 exam application fee. 
• The application fee for UPES 2025 is Rs. 1,750 for all candidates and all categories.
• Candidates can pay the application fee payment through credit card, debit card, UPI, internet banking, and other payment getaways.  
• Also, candidates need to know that the application fee is non-refundable.

UPES 2025 Application Correction

Candidates who are appearing for UPESEAT or other university-level exams may or not be provided with an application correction facility. So, all the candidates are advised to fill out the application form correctly.

However, the candidates who are applying through CUET can make some changes to their CUET application form. Some details can be changed by the students who are applying but not all.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum 50% aggregate. Also, 50% in PCM subjects.
• Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology in their qualifying or at 10+2 level.
• Board Marks: Candidates who will take admission based on board merit only must have a minimum of 80% marks in class 10th & 12th level to apply. 
• SAT/ CUET: Candidates with valid CUET/ SAT scores are eligible to apply. Also, the SAT cut-off will be 50 Percentile, CUET-UG 2025 – 60 Percentile.
• JEE/ UPESEAT:  Candidates with valid UPESEAT/ JEE main are eligible to apply. Atleast 50 percentile is required in JEE Mains.

Eligibility Criteria For MBA:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any recognized university/ institute.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score at least 50% marks in class 10th, 12th & Graduation level.
• Entrance Exams: Candidates must have a UPESMET/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT score.

• On the homepage, click the “Apply Now” option.
• Candidates need to register themselves by entering basic details such as email ID, phone number, and other details.
• Fill out the application form by entering personal details, educational qualifications, communication details, and other information.
• Candidates need to upload the scanned photograph (20-50 KB), and signature (10-25 KB) in jpg/ jpeg format.
• Pay the application fees.
